Weekend in the good old USA

After waiting 8 months for my immigration paperwork, we were finally able to make it back to the US. We had to import my car and a number of other things, so it was a good excuse to come down for a visit. We were lucky enough to stay with friends and hang out with them for a few days. Matt and I both realized how much we miss Seattle and all of our friends there. Molly, Steph, Stephen, Sean and me
Todd and Stephen doing their thing at karaoke
Matt and Sean at the grill, they were SO proud!!
Me and my boys!!!
Monday came way too quick and we were on our way back. Of course we stopped and filled up with gas right before the border. It was wonderful for my gas to cost less than $50 (I only have a 12 gallon tank) Overall it was a GREAT weekend and we hope to see you all again very soon!!!

  1. That looked like you had such a great time. Were these friends from your ward/apartment in Seattle? I'm so glad that you were able to have so much fun. I loved that you filled up with gas, that was really funny to me.

  2. What a fun trip. I have only been to Seattle once and it was much too short of a trip. I really want to go back - it's so pretty and green. $50 for your little civic?! I just complained to Ross about how it cost $43 to fill up mine just 6 short years ago it used to cost $14! How much does it cost you in your newly official land?

  3. Congrats on being official and being able to leave lovely Canada all at the same time. Kinda ironic, huh? I'm glad y'all had fun "back in the states"--ha ha. What's going on with you? Sorry I am a bit out of the loop, but I just read your post about Matt and the job--so sorry to hear that. Any progress in that area? I know exactly what it feels like, but hang in there. Talk to you soon...love you!

  4. Looks like you had a fun weekend...I wish I had been there to see you. Sometime when you are planning a "get away" down south, you guys should come to Chelan. We've got plenty of room, and it is gorgeous. Lots of outdoorsy stuff! :)
